We had a very fun July and it always disappears way too soon. To start our month off, Matt and Carly snuck in a quick - very quick - trip to Utah to help a guy in our ward move there. They were happy to get to spend a day with family and they had a wonderful time. Carly was thrilled that she got to meet her new baby cousin Brogan before any of the other kids!
While they were gone, Alissa was enjoying her first year of GIRLS CAMP!! She had a fantastic time but we sure missed her at home for that week!
Everyone returned home from their adventures just in time for us to enjoy celebrating the 4th of July! Matt's mom had sent great new holiday outfits for the kids. This was the extent of my festive food for the day!
The 3 little kids were fascinated by the hundreds of bugs on Matt's car after his trip!
Our new neighbors that are also in our ward invited us to a fun festival on the military base that day. We had a great time - Cameron and Trevor were thrilled to be in this group that got to hold such a big snake!
Just a random funny picture...
Alissa wanted her Beehive class to make a gift for the older girls that got to go on Trek this year - she came up with these adorable little handcarts and they were a hit!
Summer is Berry-Picking time in Washington! Last month we loaded up on strawberries and raspberries. This month we loaded up on blueberries and blackberries. Yum!
I put the berries to good use...also my first time making a lattice crust!
My new favorite drawing by Cameron.
Angel Moroni chillin' just cracks me up!
We like to feed the many missionaries in our ward.
These sister missionaries stopped by for a picture because one was being transferred that day. They are all such wonderful people and a real joy to be around. Great examples for my kids.
July found us at the pool many times
Jacie loves doing head stands now - like, everywhere....all the time.
I remember doing this as a kid so I had to document that my kids think just like I did!
We treated the kids to a movie one night - Angry Birds. Good times!
We explored a new park! This one had a fantastic view of the Puget Sound
Matt's latest invention! This is his improvised dunk tank. SO much fun!
