November 2019

Another month gone.  I surprisingly don't have very many pictures from this past month.
Here's some of the fun we enjoyed this cold November...

The little kids all had a great time playing miniature golf
at our neighbor friend Henry's birthday party

This is the super awesome gift we gave all our Primary teachers this year.

Gorgeous sky one morning - lots of fog this month too.

I had my yearly eye checkup and they dilated my eyes - my kids think they look SO cool!

Matt took me on a super fun date to a little town called Leavenworth.  They make this town like a little Bavarian Christmas Village.  Every shop looks like an old German type building and they all sell great little gifts.  The trees are decorated to the hilt.  We even ate dinner at an authentic German restaurant with a great accordian player right behind us!

Our Primary Chorister had a cute new baby that Jacie loves to hold.

Cold and icy around here - we even had a great hail storm come barreling through one afternoon.

On Thanksgiving, we enjoyed some Belgian waffles for breakfast and Matt got creative with a free turkey we got from the grocery store - he had all sorts of spices and stuff he shoved inside it then cooked it in the crockpot the day after Thanksgiving - it was yummy!

We shook things up this year and decided to eat out for our Thanksgiving meal - best decision ever.  We started our day enjoying a trip to the theater to see Frozen 2.  So good.  Best Thanksgiving ever.  No cooking - no cleaning up - just stuff ourselves and relax!

Matt saw a coyote right by our house!

The kids could not wait to take down all my Thanksgiving decorations and get all our Christmas stuff up.  I left to run a quick errand and came home to find the tree up and decorated and all the decorations up - nice!

We had a wonderful November full of thankfulness for our countless blessings.  We had a fun thing going on where whenever someone prayed they had to say something they are thankful for that they don't usually say.  Jacie won when she said she's just so thankful for all the different ways we can eat potatoes!  :)

Happy December-ing!
