May 2020

May started with our twins turning 9 years old!  We did a combined cake this year and they wanted this "Fire and Ice" theme.  These two are so great - we sure love having them in our family.
Jacie loves to bake and wears this cute apron and hat every time she cooks now.  And Trevor was pretty thrilled with his own tent and sleeping bag.

Jacie had been hoping for a friend party but coronavirus restrictions botched that idea.  We still made our own pinata and had a great time with it.  We made it a little too strong and Matt joked that he needed to use an axe to get it open!

I just love this picture.
Mother's Day was wonderful.  My family really helped me feel loved.  I am very blessed.  Carly made this fancy breakfast and even let her dad have the same breakfast in bed that morning!

 A unique school environment...

We found some cool Pac-man rocks on one of our walks and kids made a unique fort on the deck.

A group of church friends invited us to play some Zoom games on Saturday night - Rex joined.

The kids like to dress up Rex for church!

Matt got a little sleepy during our Come Follow Me lesson one Sunday - haha
Guess he's teaching next week!

Because Memorial Day was rainy we spent the day painting rocks.
And the kids made a life-size Candy Land game - very entertaining.

And to end the month - my nephew Mitch has a brand new baby boy
and my brother Merrill blessed his darling baby boy Oliver.

Life is good.
