July began with a trip to Yellowstone National Park!
Check out this beautiful geyser - the Grand Prismatic
Old Faithful never disappoints. Plus, we had a group of Amish people come stand by us - cool!
So...many...awesome...geysers!
Friendly little guy...
My brother Jarom and his family joined our adventures that day - so fun!
We headed back to my parents' house to pack up and say our goodbyes.
Then Matt's dad drove over from Wyoming to come grab our 4 youngest kids to spend July with them. Alissa, Matt and I had to work so we couldn't go play yet.
The 3 little kids said goodbye to their furry little kitty friends tooHere are some of the July adventures Matt, Alissa and I had in Washington...
4th of July food fun...
The joys of grocery shopping with masks on now...weird time we're living in.
We explored a beach at a very low tide and saw all sorts of creatures
We played some fun miniature golf
They had a cool gnome there and one of the holes was on a spinning platform - SO dizzy!
Alissa had a weekend dog-sitting job for this cute English bulldog named Cookie. AND she got her BRACES OFF!!
We took a trip to the ocean to get some sand dollars for our Wyoming family
And a new adventure here was Matt dug a hole and built a campfire on the beach!
This will always be my favorite thing about campfires...
Girl's Camp got cancelled due to Covid so all the girls were given a "camp in a bag"
full of fun activities and gifts and treats. Lucky duckies.
This is the type of thing we often do where I work - changing old icky looking neon signs into bright beautiful LED signs.
And Alissa spent some quality time with her friends for a couple weeks - until one of them said his sister got covid - then all the fun stopped! Thankfully no one caught it in their group.
And here's some of the fun the rest of our family had in Wyoming with Matt's family and my sister TeraLyn's family...
A trip to Mount Rushmore!
And SO much fun at Watiki Water Park
Back at their Aunt Kaeli's house in the hot tub and meeting their brand new baby cousin Waylon
At Tera's house - Carly saw a cute boy at lacrosse practice and played on the four-wheeler
Lots of fun cousin time with lots of yummy food too
They visited Fort Laramie and had their own patriotic food fun on the 4th of July
Tera took the kids to visit the Reptile Gardens
The kids loved Tera's dog And Trevor thought this was fun...
They had SO much fun on all their grand adventures in Wyoming.
The fun continued into August so stay tuned!
