Our Twinners turned THREE on May 2nd! Such cuties.
We discovered Trevor has super soft teeth and sucking his finger for 2+ years didn't help at all - he had a mouth full of cavities and had to be put to sleep to get all the work done - now he's sporting a mouth full of metal crowns. Awesome. Glad we had some tax return left to pay that hefty bill!We love our cold cereal for breakfast and it was on sale - can't resist building a house with it all!
I babysat my 2 nephews for a week and the boys loved to run out and play in this dirt pile. I love the baby's cheesy grin with dirt on his chin!
We're off on yet another yard project. This time we are putting those big red bricks down in a trench then stacking smaller ones on top for a decorative border then planting things between that wall and the school fence - SO much work but it will be worth it one of these days!
Alissa scored BIG at school recently. She has been diligently reading all year and recording her time online. Her name got drawn for a new BIKE! Just what she needed. She also got these other prizes. Lucky girl!
Taletha's car broke down but luckily she has the King of Awesome as her brother-in-law. Matt was willing to take a day off work and get her car all fixed up for her. What a great guy I married!
The end of May brought a fun trip to the mountains to try a new hike! We went to Silver Lake (though this particular part of it should be called Moss lake in my opinion!). It was high enough in the mountains that there was still quite a bit of snow but pleasant enough for us to spend the day there.
We enjoyed walking on the nice boardwalk around the lake and eating our picnic lunch
Then we proved how tough we were and went on a mile hike up the mountain to find Twin Lakes. It was still quite frozen and we had to hike through lots of snow and guess where the path was a lot of the time! The 4 little kids we had (5 and under) plus our older girls were AMAZING!! They just kept going and going and only had small meltdowns now and then. I was SO impressed with them. It was a hard hike that wore me out and it was quite the adventure for us all.
And at the very end - Matt (and the kids) were thrilled to catch a fish!
This poor guy had the runs all day so he had plenty of chances to practice his squat-in-the-woods technique. He was a real trooper. This picture describes how we all felt on the trip home!
We got to see Taletha's classroom at Riverton High School where she teaches Spanish.
Her school was having a community appreciation party so we enjoyed all the fun.
One of the Art students did all the face painting - she's got some mad skills!
CAL Ranch has baby chicks, baby ducks and baby bunnies now!
Mother's Day! I love feeling all the love from my precious kids. I love being their mommy.

Matt and Trevor entertained themselves before bed one night...
And Alissa and Cameron entertained us all with this funny trick...And May brought the hard work of getting our garden ready and planted but it's done and we're happy to see all our little baby plants coming up now.
It's been a fun month and the weather is heating up fast for summer now. We have some fun new adventures on the calendar for June so see you in a month!
