April gets multiple blog posts because it is chuck full of awesome sauce! :)
Here go the kids on their last day walking to school at Mountain Shadows Elementary...They've made some great friends and had incredible teachers there - what a blessing in all our lives.
We've really hunkered down and finished packing up the rest of our stuff. I did some serious downsizing and man did that feel good! :) I even put the kids to work! One of our giant piles of boxes - 7 people in a family do need a lot of stuff even after downsizing - and yes, that box of Harry Potter books is an essential and didn't make the cut to downsizing!
MOVING DAY!! So many wonderful friends and family members showed up to help us get loaded up and we couldn't be more thankful. Our lives were incredibly blessed living in this home for the past nearly 4 years and many will be missed. This first picture is of our favorite friend and next door neighbor Traci Wilkes - she was getting pretty sick but still helped us out a ton that day. Love her.
Aunt Holly and I got the oh-so-fun task of getting all the mattresses wrapped in plastic
The twins thought their most important place to be was on that awesome big truck! Check out those black feet - ugh.
Grandpa Hansen is a master at Tetris-izing all the stuff to make it fit nice and tight - what a big help he is.
Matt's Grandma Paskett brought dinner for the crowd and is oh-so-sweet. We love her to pieces.
I got a shot of the majority of the guys from our ward that came to offer their help and support.
Saying goodbye to cousin Clarissa
...and Uncle Skyler
...and cousins Ruston and Kurtis (none of this crowd realizes exactly what this goodbye means)
...and Grandma Paskett and so many more to say goodbye to that night.
Grandma Hansen gave the kids their own cute bags full of goodies and travel games - what a great gift!
Our last night in our Utah home...
We got up early the next morning to get all the last minute stuff loaded and get on the road.
And we're off to exciting new adventures in the beautiful land of Washington!
