February 2017

We had a fun February.  This light layer of snow gave us a snow day with no school - haha!  Matt took the kids to a park he used to go sledding at for just such an occasion when he was a kid.  We found a hill with enough snow to actually sled on and had a great video opportunity too...
Some of our Valentine's Day fun this month...

February brought the "fun" of many Science Fair Projects...
And the 100th day of school!  Here are 3 of our 100 year old kids.  :)
 More Valentine's Day fun...

Can you see Trevor?  :)
Alissa earned the Principal's Award for keeping a 4.0 GPA so far this year and we got a lot of rain!

 My Cute Kids...

We played a fun game of soccer at the church gym on President's Day and Matt was determined to get one of these balloons down - lots of tries and many scared kids later - we finally got one down!

That night, we had a fun Family Home Evening about the Armor of God - here's our version of it...

More Science Fair fun...

Alissa is happy to be playing soccer for her school again this year.

The Elementary School had a 2 week reading challenge with a bike as the grand prize for whichever kid reads the most minutes in those two weeks.  Last year it took over 1000 minutes to win it so Carly was determined to win this year - she'd come home from school and disappear to her room for hours to read - she racked up over 2000 minutes and, not surprisingly, WON THE BIKE!!  She's thrilled!

We have a BAPTISM coming up!  Our little Cameron man is turning 8 in April so we got some cute pictures taken of him by our temple to put on his Baptism Announcements.  Cute kid.

And to end our Fun February - we drove up to Monroe one last time to help the Albaughs load up the last of their stuff and said goodbye to them.  They get to move closer to both sides of their families - lucky ducks!  Their trip there was full of bumps and hiccups but they finally made it!  We will miss having them fairly close to us but we're happy for their new adventure.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for the adventures that March will bring to us!
