Here is some of our September fun...

To start off the month - Alissa turned 15!  She wanted a cake that reflected her...nailed it.

Matt's aunt has some plum trees that were just begging us to pick their delicious fruits...we did.

We spent Labor Day at a fun Girl's Camp - lots of great activities to do there.  We enjoyed volleyball, horseshoes, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, a ropes course, a rope swing, lunch at a log cabin and playing in a great lake on different kinds of boats and down the water slide.  SO fun.  The highlight was when Alissa jumped off her paddle board to try out the water and Trevor jumped on to her paddle board and rowed away with it while she went yelling and swimming after him - he was grinning from ear to ear!

 The area we live in participates in the National Day of Service - we signed up to help clean up a local trail we like to walk on.  We got to use this really cool contraption that grabs onto the trunk of the scotch broom plants and pries them up easy as anything.  And the twins found little snake friends.

  The twinners thought it'd be great fun to sleep in the tub one night - childhood is a happy place.

 And a highlight of our month was the rare opportunity to travel by train to downtown Seattle to Safeco Field where the Mariners play baseball to hear the Prophet speak - plus his wife and President Eyring.  Amazing!!

One happy Sunday night, Trevor and I built this super awesome fort - and Matt passed down a family tradition - he passed on the secrets of how to make a great bowl of popcorn.  He loves that stuff.

 Carly made the Northwood Middle School Volleyball Team!!  She is loving it.  So fun.

 We ended our month with a trip to the State Fair.  Always a good time.  The kiddos loved the rides and Jacie even got to learn how to milk a cow!  The twins were leaning down looking at a goat as I explained how to milk one (I am a professional at that from my youth, of course).  The goat suddenly passed gas very loudly in their faces.  Trevor may have let out a little scream and Jacie said she didn't even know goats could DO that thing!  Hahahaha!!

 And, finally, here's a happy little picture of Matt eating cotton candy to send you on your way!
